The Steel Structure of a Residential Building
Špeta, Václav ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with a project of the steel structure of a residential building. The building is thought like sevenfloor balcony-access house. The access balcony is situated in atrium in the middle of the building, which is roofed with a shell dome. The regular hexagon creates a ground plan of each floor. Every floor is turned 30 degrees compared to the next floors. The longest cross dimension is 43 m (axial). The height of the building is 30,4 m (including copula envelope). The final structure is chosen on the basis of optimization of the structural variants. The climatic load angle structure falls into the locality of the town Brno. The vertical supporting structure is made from steel-concrete accoupled circular section columns. The floor structure is designed from the steel rolled section I and H. These support assembly of a horizontal structure. Some joists and girder are designed like accoupled with a concrete floor slab. The copula above atrium is made from glue laminated timber ribs. Infill rods are from steel tube. The top ring of copula is designed from the rolled section UPE.
Multifunctional object - analysis of substructures of the structure
Pelouch, Adam ; Šulák, Pavel (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with design and evaluation local supported ceiling slab made from reinforcement concrete of polyfunctional building. The ceiling slab of the second floor was designing. Internal forces were analysed in RFEM software based on finite entity method with check of usability results by equivalent frame method. Structure was verified according to ultimate and serviceability limit states. Then the comparation of results of direct design method and finite entity method on simple slab 5X5 span.
The Structure of the Atypical Family House in Vrchlabí
Vondráček, Vít ; Hron, Lukáš (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The subject of master’s thesis is design and assessment of steel load-bearing construction of atypical family house in Vrchlabí. Structure is designed as multi-storey steel structure, cooperating with stiff concrete core. The design was considered in four different options which combines possibility of using steel, steel and timber with different way of stiffness for whole structure. There is also composite steel-concrete alternative floor trimmer for selected option. Design and assessment was conducted in accordance with the applicable standards and by using software Scia Engineer.
Diagnostics methodology of reinforced concrete structures
Zlámal, Vojtěch ; Vítek, Lubomír (referee) ; Anton, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with properties of reinforced concrete and describes its basic investigated properties. In the each parts this study deals with the methods used for diagnostics of building structures. In greater detail deals with selected methods, which are used in the practical part of this work. The aim of the practical part was to find out reinforcement in selected ceiling elements of the existing building.
Multi-storey building
Surovec, Daniel ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The object of this thesis is to design and assess steel structure of multi-storey office center in Vsetín. Floor plan dimensions of building are 48x40m. The building has ten floors. Overall height is 35,5m. The building ceilings made of composite steel and concrete structure. The part of build are roofer atrium and one bigger room aula with dimensions 24x16m. Two construction variants were designed and assessed. Longitudinal and transverse rigity of variant A is ensured by truss bracing. Transverse rigity of variant B is ensured by truss bracing and longitudinal rigity is braced by bracing frames. The variant A is better.
Administrative building
Polerecká, Katarína ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is design and assessment of the steel structure of the multi-storey administration center in Martin. Floor plan dimensions are in the shape of a square 40 x 40 m. Column spacing is 8mx8x. Building has 6 floors and total height is 22,2m. Floor and roof structure is made of steel-concrete composite slab . Part of the work is analyze two different versions. Version A has longitudinal rigidity due to truss bracing. Rigidity of Version B has is ensured by frame conections between beams and columns.Version A was selected as better solution. All parts, except truss braicing is made of rolled beams. The whole structure is made of steel S355.
Office building
Závacká, Petra ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
The final product of my thesis is a design of a bearing steel construction with conjugated concrete-steel elements horizontally attached to an administrative building. The thesis contains a desing of an administrative building with a parking garage which are connected. The administrative building has 8 floors and the parking garage with the connecting part has 4 floors. The height of the floor in all objects is 3,5m in 1.NP. From 2.NP up each floor has a height of 3m. The administrative building has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 36 x 48 m. The parking garage is of similar shape with dimensions of 30 x 54 m. Both buidlings are joined in an angle of 33 deg. The height of the administrative building above ground is 26, 475m. The height of the parking garage above the ground with the connecting part is 12,795m. The structure is made up of articulated beams stored in the column. Composite cross section is stored on girder hinge. The design of both objects is stiffened by vertical wall braces the transverse and longitudinal directions. Roofs are a mixture of objects for a specified period. The office building is located atrium measuring 12 x 24m. Atrium roofing is made by steel structure with glass panes. Cladding will consist of building glass facade.
Load-bearing timber structure of a storey house
Junková, Karolina ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Straka, Bohumil (advisor)
The subject of my bachelor´s thesis is design and static assessment of timber load-bearing structure of a storey house. The object has three floors - first floor, the second floor and attic. The dimensions of ground plans is 14,7 x11,1 meters and the house is 11 meters high. The frame load-bearing structure off wall is formed by wall panels where joist are stored. The truss is designed as a system of purlins. The building is located in Slavkov u Brna climatic loads are solved for this location.
Design of a one-span bridge
Barič, Dominik ; Panáček, Josef (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is a design of a plate – girder bridge structure over the river „Svitava“, between the towns of „Blansko“ and „Brno“. The bridge carries a road of a class II, category S9,5/90. Three studies have been designed. Study A has been chosen for a detailed design. It has a character of post - tensioned plate - girder structure. Load analysis is performed in software Scia Engineer 17.1. The design and assessment are done by hand. Load caused by wind, snow and horizontal forces of traffic is passed by.
Survey and Diagnostics of Building Construction
Zlámal, Vojtěch ; Vítek, Lubomír (referee) ; Anton, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the position of diagnostics of reinforced concrete structures in the building industry. The theoretical part deals with the research of methods for practical part of this thesis and basic imagine of procedure. The practical part deals with the survey of an existing building, quality of concrete and reinforcement of elements. The last part is the static calculation of the selected element for the intended use of the building. At the end, the results of the construction and technical survey are evaluated.
